Artists Rate Great at Visual Art Scholastic Event

This past Saturday Lytle High School Art Students traveled to East Central High School for the Regional Visual Art Scholastic Event Competition.  Students were interviewed by Art Jurors and given a score based on their artistic technique as well as their verbal response to constructive criticism.  Students art work with a rating score “4” were then placed on exhibits for other local art students, parents and friends to view.  From those exhibits, jurors then carefully picked those art pieces that would continue onto State Competition.  Although we did not have any of our student qualifiers continue onto State Level, all students received high score rating scores of  3 & 4, which is in itself a great accomplishment. All artwork will be displayed in the High School Library through the next couple weeks.
